• A student wishing to cancel their course registration may do so by sending an email to support@newtech-academy.com and/or by using the contact form on the college’s website. The student must include their full name, email address, order number, and date of purchase in their request. Any other method of cancellation not in accordance with these procedures—such as by phone and/or in writing—will not constitute a cancellation of registration and/or enrollment and will not be responded to by the college.
• Every cancellation request will be reviewed by the college, and a response will be sent to the registrant requesting the cancellation within 14 business days of the request to the email address provided by the registrant at the time of registration or via any other means of communication whose details are on file with the college.
• In the event of cancellation within 14 days of registration, the registrant will receive a full refund, without any cancellation fees, provided that the cancellation was received by the College’s offices 14 days (excluding holidays) prior to the course start date and that the registrant has not yet received any digital content.
• The registrant acknowledges that the courses offered on the website are digital products that include access to online content such as videos, files, presentations, study materials, recordings, and any other content. This content constitutes the College’s exclusive intellectual property.
• The digital content, lessons, and information received by the registrant constitute material that may be reproduced and/or copied and/or recorded in accordance with the law; therefore, once the registrant has been granted access to the digital content, they shall not be entitled to cancel their registration, in accordance with the law.
• Without derogating from the foregoing, it is clarified that the proportion of the course cost attributable to the digital component is 100%.
• It is clarified that placement in an alternative or additional course does not constitute a new registration; the registrant’s right to cancel the registration shall be in accordance with the date of the initial registration and the date of the original course for which they registered prior to the change in placement.
• Without derogating from the foregoing, a refund in the event of cancellation of registration will be issued by the college within 14 business days from the date the college approves the registrant’s notice of cancellation. If payment was made by credit card, the refund will be issued as a credit to the credit card used to pay the tuition.
