In the class, we will dive deep into the world of Cyber & IT and learn the basics of computing and networking, as required of every beginner cyber professional.
We will learn the difference between operating systems such as Windows and Linux, practice working with basic commands (CMD and Bash), understand how to manage files and folders securely, and how to set various permissions to protect users and the system.
In addition, we will provide an initial introduction to basic networking concepts and the key tools used in cyber defense.
Cyber Security is a field that aims to protect computer systems, networks, and information from attacks and hacking attempts. Cyber security professionals are responsible for identifying weaknesses, preventing attacks, and ensuring that the system remains available and secure at all times.
They do this through a combination of in-depth technological knowledge, use of advanced tools, and creative thinking that allows them to always be one step ahead of hackers.
Cyber experts are responsible for protecting systems, networks, and data from breaches and attempted attacks.
